# Editing / Updating Class Time and Day

## Adjusting Schedules to Keep Your Classes Up to Date

Managing class schedules effectively ensures smooth operations and clear communication with students. This guide explains how to edit and update class times and dates in Class Manager.

### Editing Class Day and Time

1. Click `<` to the right of `Classes`.
2. In the expanded menu click `View All`.
3. Select the relevant season and locate the class (or use our handy global search feature).
4. Open the class by selecting it. **If you only need to update the class time, skip to step 8.**
5. Under the *Basic Information* tab click `Edit`.
6. Enter the updated class session days in the *Days* field as needed.
7. Click `Save` to update.
8. Navigate to the `Lesson Setup` tab.
9. Select the existing lesson setup to update the day and time.
10. Click `Save` and you are golden!

Make sure the new date and time do not conflict with other scheduled classes. If you encounter any unavailable time slots for the lesson, you may find the following articles useful:
