# Editing or Cancelling Trial Lessons

## Learn how to cancel or make changes to trial lessons

Managing trial lessons in Class Manager is straightforward, whether you need to cancel or make changes to an existing trial lesson. This article will guide you through the steps to effectively cancel or edit trial lessons for your customers or students.

### Editing a Trial Lesson

1. Click `<` to the right of `Classes`.
2. In the expanded menu click `Trials`.
3. Find the trial you want to edit and click the `Edit` button.
4. On the next page, select a different lesson date then click `Update Lesson Trials`.
5. Confirm by clicking the `Update` button when prompted.
6. The customer will be notified via email about the changes.

If you want to change the class they are trialling, you will need to cancel the trial first and create a new trial or ask the customer/student to register for the correct class.

### Cancelling a Trial Lesson

1. Click `<` to the right of `Classes`.
2. In the expanded menu click `Trials`.
3. Tick the box next to the trial you want to cancel.
4. On the upper right portion, click the `Cancel` button.
5. Confirm by clicking the `Cancel` button when prompted.
6. The customer will be notified via email about the trial cancellation.
