Personalise the reasons for student absences on your class registers for better reporting and understanding.
Customising absence reasons allows you to tailor your class registers to better reflect the reasons why students may be absent. This can be valuable for generating reports and gaining insights into attendance patterns and student behaviour.
Class Manager comes with default absence reasons to choose from when marking a student as absent, i.e. illness, injury, family emergency, transportation issue, doctor appointment, and other emergency. However, you have the flexibility to customise and add your own absence reasons according to your specific needs.
Here's how you can customise absence reasons for your class registers:

to the right ofSettings
. - In the expanded menu click
Options
. - In the Options section, locate the
Reasons
widget, which contains existing entries. - Click on the
Edit
button. - You can remove existing reasons that don't fit your school's needs by clicking the
xDelete
button. - To add a new absence reason, click the
+Add
button and a new line with empty fields will appear. Fill in the details, ensuring that the name field is unique as it will be the option presented in the registers. - Once you've added and edited the absence reasons to your satisfaction, click to
Save
the settings.
