# Adding a venue

## Make sure your venues are in place so you can assign your classes to the correct location

Setting up your venues, rooms or studios is something that needs to be done only once. You will have these in place so that you are able to assign your classes to the correct place.

1. Click `<` to the right of `Settings`  
2. In the expanded menu click `Venue`
3. Click `Create` to make a new venue.
4. Please ensure the new period has a `Name`, `Address`, `Town`, `County` , `Postcode` , and `Country`. You can also add contact details of the venue (like a landlord or building managers).
5. Here it will also ask you foran **`Opening time`** and**`Closing time`** for your venue. This will have an effect on the times you can select when creating your classes. 
6. Don't forget about the room, you will need to enter a `Name` and the max `Capacity` the room can hold.
7. Once you are ready hit `Save`
   
    

Once these are created, you will not need to do this again, they will be set up on your account for you to assign classes to unless you decide to delete them.
