When paying by card, Class Manager gives them the option to change the value of the payment. Find out how to enable/disable this feature.
Debit Card and Credit Card payments made via our payment integration partner Stripe has a default setting that allows your customer to change the amount of the payment.
This article is only relevant to our customers using our Debit/Credit card integration (Stripe).
This feature was introduced due to a customer requirement to split the bill, for example, for a separated couple. This, in turn, would allow each of them to pay 50%. To the customer, this looks like the below:
We understand that this feature isn't what everyone would like. Read on and learn how to disable this feature.
To disable part-payments, on the menu, head to Billing > Settings > Payment Methods:
Once in payment methods, you need to select Debit/Credit Card by clicking 'Edit':
You then need to toggle Allow Part Payments to Disable:
Once you've made this change you just need to hit Save.
Enable Part Payments
If you need to reverse this action in the future, please follow all the same steps in the Disable Part Payments section above. The only adjustment you'll need to make is toggle it back to Enable.
Don't forget to hit Save once you're done.
