# Downloading a List of Students

## Effortlessly Obtain Student Lists for Your Needs

When it comes to obtaining a list of students, whether it's for a specific term or for general purposes, Class Manager offers convenient solutions. Here's how you can do it:

### **For Term-Based Lists:**

If you require a list of students for a particular term, you can access this information in registers by following the steps:

1. #### To download the register of a specific class: 
   
     1. Click `<` to the right of `Classes`.
     2. In the expanded menu click `View All`.
     3. Select the relevant season and locate the class (or utilize the global search feature).
     4. Select the class and head over to the `Lessons` tab.
     5. Click `Download term register` button
2. #### To download the register for the entire season:
   
     1. Click `<` to the right of `Classes`.
     2. In the expanded menu click `View All`.
     3. Select the relevant season.
     4. Click `Download as` button and select which format you would like the document to be saved as (PDF/CSV).

### **For Comprehensive Lists:**

If you need a list of all your students or specific subsets based on certain criteria, head over to the `Reports` section.

1. Click `<` to the right of `Reports`.
2. In the expanded menu click `Student`.
3. Select the type of list you need, such as students with birthdays on a specific day, students attendance, students with specific billing addresses, etc. Utilize the search bar to locate the appropriate report.
4. If you seek a list of all active students, simply click on `Active Students`. This particular report will include the names and birthdays of all your active students, along with the names and email addresses of their parents or guardians.

**Download Options:**  
Once you've selected your desired report, you have the option to download the list in either PDF or CSV format (compatible with spreadsheet software like Excel). 

With these steps, you can effortlessly access and download student lists tailored to your specific requirements within Class Manager. ⭐
