      Managing Notifications in Class Manager

      Stay Informed with Customizable Notifications

      Class Manager offers a flexible notification system that helps you stay updated on important activities related to your school.

      By enabling specific notifications, you can receive real-time updates and, if you have the Class Manager app installed on your phone, push notifications (provided your phone is set to receive notifications from the app). 

      Enabling and Managing Notifications

      To customise your notification settings:

      1. Navigate to Settings > Notifications.

      2. Use the toggle switches to enable or disable notifications according to your preferences.

      3. Ensure that push notifications are enabled on your mobile device if you wish to receive alerts through the Class Manager app.

      When logged in to Class Manager on a browser, you'll find your notifications by clicking the bell icon (🔔) in the upper right corner.

      Available Notifications

      You can choose to enable or disable the following notifications based on your preferences:

      • Customer Registered: Get notified when a new user registers on the portal.

      • Student Enrolled: Receive an update when a student is enrolled in a class (available for paid and automatic enrollments only).

      • Lesson Trial Booked: Stay informed when a student books a trial lesson.

      • Pay As You Go Lesson Booked: Get notified when a customer books a Pay As You Go lesson.

      • Invoice Fully Paid: Receive a notification when an invoice is paid in full.

      • Invoice Partially Paid: Get an alert when an invoice is partially paid.

      • Customer Payment: Get notified when a customer makes a payment via Stripe or GoCardless.

      • Incomplete Attendance (Who Take This Class): Staff who conducted the class will receive a notification if attendance has not been completed after the class finishes (more than an hour later).

      • Incomplete Attendance (Company Owner): The company owner will be notified if attendance is incomplete after the class has ended (more than an hour later).

      • Order Paid: Receive a notification when an order gets paid.

      • Recurring Charge Installment Failed: Get an alert when a recurring charge instalment fails.

      • Birthday Alert: Be notified if any of your students have a birthday today.


      By managing your notifications effectively, you can streamline communication and stay informed about key events within your school. ✨
