Provide your customers with an online registration form

Give your customers an online registration form to register themselves to your school through the portal.

Encouraging potential customers to register with your school is made simple through our online registration form, accessible via the Parent Portal. Here's how to provide your customers with this seamless registration experience:

Obtaining the Registration Link

    1. Click Dashboard on the left menu.
    2. Locate the My Portal widget.
    3. For registration, click the Copy Register Link

This link can be copied and pasted onto your website or shared across your social media platforms.

New registrations will initially show as pending on your account. You have the option to manually approve registrations if you prefer to review each one beforehand. Alternatively, you can automate the approval process.

Manual Approvals

Take a moment to review each registration. Once approved, customers will be added to your account along with their associated students (their children). 

To set up manual approval for all customer registrations:

  1. Click < to the right of Settings.
  2. In the expanded menu click Company and then click Information.
  3. In the Portal Registrations section, un-check the Automatically approve portal registrations? box.
  4. And don't forget to Save your changes.

When a new customer registers, they will appear pending on the portal registrations page.

To approve pending customer registrations:

  1. Click < to the right of Customers.
  2. In the expanded menu click Portal Registraions
  3. You can either approve individual customers or use the bulk approval option to streamline the process.

Automatic Approvals

If you prefer, you can set up automatic approval for all customer registrations:

  1. Click < to the right of Settings.
  2. In the expanded menu click Company and then click Information.
  3. In the Portal Registrations section, check Automatically approve portal registrations? box.
  4. And don't forget to Save your changes.

When a new customer registers, they are automatically added to your customer list.

Sending Welcome Emails


Whether you select manual or automatic approvals, you can opt to send a welcome email to each approved customer, providing them with their portal login link for easy access.

To automatically send a welcome email to new customers:

  1. Click < to the right of Settings.
  2. In the expanded menu click Company and then click Information.
  3. In the Portal Registrations section, check Send welcome email after a customer is approved? box.
  4. And don't forget to Save your changes.

💡Tip: You can edit the contents of the welcome email by going to Messages > Email Templates > and search for the Portal Welcome email.

You can also choose to automatically enrol students into classes after their parent's registration is approved. To do that, head over to your company settings:

  1. Click < to the right of Settings.
  2. In the expanded menu click Company and then click Information.
  3. In the Portal Class Enrolment section, select whether you want to automatically add students to class or not.
  4. And don't forget to Save your changes.
