Recital Manager explained

Learn how to create a recital order in Class Manager

Recital Manager, an integral feature of Class Manager, streamlines the process of creating show orders for your school events. Here's how to make the most of it:

  1. Click < to the right of Classes.
  2. In the expanded menu click Recital Manager.
  3. Click the Create button to start.
  4. Begin by adding essential details to the show, including:
    • Name of the recital
    • Date
    • Location
    • Start time
    • Routine gap threshold (the number of routines between dancers routines to ensure they have enough time for changes/breaks)
    • Routine interval (allowing sufficient time between routines for on or off-stage changes, affecting overall performance length)
    • Don't forget to Save your changes.
  5. Next, Add a routine and include:
    • Name of the routine
    • Routine Length
    • Music
    • Notes (optional; include notes for each performance, aiding chaperones and stage hands with necessary details such as required props. These notes will be accessible on your play book.)
    • Again, remember to Save your changes.
  6. Continue editing the routine to add Routine Managers (teachers) and add students (search and select students by class or individually).
  7. Address any conflicts that arise while adding shows, particularly when dancers perform back-to-back routines. Adjust routine lists using arrows to change positions or remove students from routines as needed.
  8. After adding all routines, click Save again.
  9. Your show is now saved and listed in your Recital List, ready for further editing if required.
  10. For convenience, download the play book as a PDF file.
