Understanding and Resolving Schedule Overlaps in Class Manager
When attempting to activate lessons, you may encounter the following error message:
"Some classes couldn't be made active because they have timeslot conflicts."
This means that the system has detected an overlap in scheduled class times and locations.
What Causes This Error?
Class Manager prevents multiple classes from being scheduled in the same room at the same time to avoid conflicts. This error typically occurs when:

Two or more classes are assigned to the same room and have overlapping times.

A class is mistakenly scheduled for a time slot already occupied by another class in the same room.
How to Resolve Timeslot Conflicts
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
1. Check the Class Schedule

Navigate to
Classes
>View All
. -
Select the relevant season and locate the class with the error.

Review the assigned room and timeslot for conflicts.
2. Adjust the Class Schedule or Room Assignment

If another class is scheduled at the same time in the same room, consider:

Assigning the conflicting class to a different time.
- Open the class and navigate to the
Lesson Setup
tab. - Select the existing setup to change the timeframe and
Save
your changes.
- Open the class and navigate to the

Moving the class to a different room.
- Open the class and under the
Basic Information
tab clickEdit
. - Select a new room then
Save
. - Navigate to the
Lesson Setup
tab. - Select the lesson to change the room and
Save
your changes.

3. Create an Additional Room (If Needed)
If all available rooms are occupied, you may need to create a new room to accommodate the schedule:

Go to
Settings
>Venues
>View All
. - Select your venue.
- Navigate to the
Rooms
tab. -
Click
Create
and enter the details. -
Assign one of the conflicting classes to the new room by following the steps above.
Once adjustments are made, try activating the lessons again. Ensuring each class has a unique timeslot and location will prevent this issue from recurring.
