# Adding Sizes and Colours to Products

## Learn how to customize your Point of Sale products with different sizes and colours

To enhance your product offerings in the Point of Sale section, you can add size and color variations. Follow these steps to set up these customizations:

### Adding Sizes

1. Click `<` to the right of `Point of Sale`.
2. In the expanded menu click `Settings`.
3. Click on `Create` at the top of the screen.
4. Under the *Basic Information* section, enter a general name for your variations, such as "Size".
5. Click the `+Add` button to start adding size options like “Small,” “Medium,” and “Large.” Continue adding as many sizes as needed.
6. Once you've added all the desired sizes, click `Save` to store your variations.

### Adding Colours

1. Similar to adding sizes, go to `Point of Sale` *\>* `Settings`, click `Create`, and name your variation “Colour.”
2. Enter various colour options like “Red,” “Blue,” and “Green.”
3. After adding all the colors, click `Save` to save your colour variations.

### Applying Variations to Products

When creating a new product,

1. Go to `Point of Sale` \> `Products` \> `Create`.
2. Enter the details of the product like name, tax rate, price, etc.
3. Then toggle the `Product has variations` button.
4. Choose the relevant size and color variations from your list.
5. Click `Save` to create all possible combinations of sizes and colors for the product.
6. If needed, you can set different prices for each variation. Simply tick the box `Have different price` and enter the price next to each variation.
7. Once you have configured all options, click `Save`. Your product will now display all size and colour variations to your customers.

If the product is already created and you want to add variations:

1. Go to `Point of Sale` \> `Products`.
2. Select the product you want to configure and click `Add Variations`.
3. Choose the relevant size and colour variations from your list.
4. Click `Generate` to create all possible combinations of sizes and colours for the product.
5. If needed, you can set different prices for each variation. Simply tick the box `Have different price` and enter the price next to each variation.
6. Once configured, click `Save`.

Congratulations! Your products are now ready for your customers to choose from a variety of sizes and colors. You can start creating orders with these options right away.
