# Activate Specific Classes for Online Enrollment on the Portal

## Select Which Classes to Make Available for Enrollment for Your Customers

With portal class enrollment, your customers can easily enrol in your classes without needing to contact you first!

You have the option to allow them to join classes automatically or require your approval for each enrollment, which will be visible in your account.

### Step 1: Activate Enrolment Settings

Navigate to the Company Details in Settings to activate portal enrolment.

1. Click `<` to the right of `Settings`.
2. In the expanded menu click `Company` and then `Information`.

Here, you can select your preferred enrollment settings: **manual approval**, **automatic enrollment**, or **requiring upfront payments** (note that you’ll need to have card payments enabled for this option). ### Step 2: Choose Classes for Enrolment

Once the feature is activated, you’ll need to decide which classes will be available for online enrollment:

1. Click `<` to the right of `Classes`.
2. In the expanded menu, select `View All`.
3. Choose the relevant season you wish to update.
4. Use the checkboxes on the left to select the classes you want to enable for this feature.
5. After selecting the desired classes, click on `Group Actions`, then choose `Enable Portal Enrolment` from the dropdown menu.
6. Once enabled, the red crosses next to the classes will turn to green ticks, indicating that these classes are now active on the portal. This means they are searchable and bookable through the parent portal.

📝 Make sure to check each class's **Capacities**, as this will determine whether students are added directly to the class or placed on the waiting list.

You can also set age restrictions to ensure that only students of the appropriate age can enroll in specific classes.

#### How to disable portal enrolment for a specific class

1. Go to `Classes` \> `View All`.
2. Choose the relevant season you wish to update.
3. Use the checkboxes on the left to select the classes you want to disable.
4. After selecting the desired classes, click on `Group Actions`, then choose `Disable Portal Enrolment` from the dropdown menu.
