# Make changes after you have sent an invoice

## When you have sent an invoice to a customer but you would like to edit it.

1. Find the invoice by go to `Billing` \> `Invoices`
2. Search customers name
3. Select invoice  
   a. If invoice is **Paid** or **Part Paid **you will need to either delete the payment or unassign the payment. For help to do that click [here](https://help.classmanager.com/en/how-to-edit-a-part-paid-or-paid-invoice-without-deleting-the-payment-class-manager-help-center?hsLang=en)  
   b.  To delete payment go to:  
   ii. `Billing` \> `Payment`   
   iii. Search for payment  
   iiii. Select Payment  
   iiiii. `Delete`
4. Select `Invoice Options` \> `Convert to Draft`
5.  Now that it is in **Draft** you can make the relevant changes and send when ready
