# What discount scheme should I choose?

## How to decide the best discount scheme for your customers and set it up in your settings.

By creating a discount scheme in your settings, your invoices will automatically apply the rules of the selected scheme whenever they are generated.

Here are the four discount schemes you can choose from:

1. **Discounts Based on Invoiced Classes**  
   This scheme applies discounts to individual class amounts on an invoice, based on the number of classes each student takes or the total number of students on the invoice.

2. **Discounts Based on Invoiced Students**  
   This option discounts each student separately, based on the number of classes they are enrolled in. If a customer has multiple students, each student’s class cost total will receive a discount individually.

3. **Discounts Based on Invoiced Customer**  
   In this scheme, the discount applies to the total number of classes taken by all students on an invoice. Whether it’s one or multiple students, the discount is taken from the overall invoice amount.

4. **Discounts Based on Invoice Class Quantity**  
   With this scheme, you can apply a discount to a specific class based on the total number of classes on the invoice, regardless of the number of students.

Choosing the right discount scheme can help you manage your invoicing efficiently and offer tailored discounts to your customers. Consider the needs of your business and how each scheme affects your customers’ invoices.
