Create a product, item or fee that you want to bill your customers for.
With our 'Point Of Sale' feature, you can create a product for whatever you like and bill your customers for it. Whether that is an actual item such as a uniform or costume or if it is an additional fee such as Exam fees.

Initially, you will need to create the product you are looking to bill your customer for.
To do this, head to 'Point of Sale' > 'Products' on your main menu:
Once on this page, hit the 'Create' button to start building your product. It will ask you for details such as the product name, cost including tax rate (if applicable), and description.
If the product has variations you can toggle it on and add the different options like color, sizes, etc.
Note: Product options or variations would need to be created first under Point of Sale > Settings. Here you can find all instructions on how to add them.
There is also an option to enable stock management so you can add stock level per variation or product. If the product has no variation you can add the stock level to the product directly. For example, if you have "Hoodie" in 3 different colours (black, white, pink) you can add stock level per variation so 3 black, 4 white, and 3 pink (not to "hoodie" directly). But if it's just "Hoodie" without variations you can add stock level directly to it so 10 hoodies.
If a product is out of stock, you as the admin can still create an order on your side but parents or customers cannot (via the portal shop). If you create an order for an item that is out of stock, the stock level becomes negative.
Once you have entered the product name, it will create a unique product code for the item. You can edit this if you use your own codes.
You are also able to add an image of your product for easy reference when you are on your product list.
*Please note, if you have taxes enabled in your settings, it will ask for the tax rate you offer and calculate this for you accordingly.
Once this product has been created on your account, it will stay there unless you decide to delete it. You will also be able to go back and edit if anything changes.
Now you will be able to create orders so you can bill for your product.
