A complete guide to setting up Stripe, AutoPay, and more

With Stripe integrated into Class Manager, you can offer seamless payment solutions, allowing your customers to add their cards and even set up automatic payments using AutoPay. This guide will you through how to send payment method requests and set up AutoPay.

Enable Debit/Credit Card Payments

Before you can accept card payments and use AutoPay, you'll need to have Stripe connected to your Class Manager account for processing debit and credit card payments.

Once card payments are enabled:

• Your customers can conveniently pay their invoices online by either logging into the portal or following the payment link in their invoice email. They will be directed to a secure payment page where they can enter their card details to complete the transaction.
• You can set up recurring charges for customers to automatically process a fixed payment at regular intervals. Follow this guide to know more ➡️ Recurring Charges 
• Trigger automatic payments for upcoming invoices, as will be discussed below.
• Easily accept upfront payments for enrolments, Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) classes, and paid trials.

Setting Up AutoPay

AutoPay allows your customers to automatically pay their invoices before the due date, simplifying the payment process for both you and them. As the admin, you have the option of whether customers can manage their own AutoPay settings or if AutoPay will be enforced for all customers with a card on file.

Issuing Refunds from Stripe

If you’ve triggered duplicate payments by mistake, you can issue refunds through the Stripe dashboard. Currently, Class Manager does not support direct refunds, so you'll need to log in to Stripe to process these.

Turning Off Card Payments

You can enable or disable card payments at any time. To globally disable it for all customers:

1. Click < to the right of Billing.
2. In the expanded menu click Settings.
3. Select Payment Methods.
4. Select Disable in the Debit/Credit Card widget.
