Explore how existing students can participate in trial lessons to discover new class offerings.
Trials aren't just for potential customers – existing students can also benefit from exploring your class offerings through trial lessons.
Here's how the process works:
For admin (you create a trial as admin):
- Create a trial for existing students.
- Click

to the right ofClasses
. - In the expanded menu click
Trials
and clickCreate
button. - On the next page, select the student you are creating the trial for. Then select the season, class, and lesson date and then click
Create Lesson Trials
. - If it's a paid trial, you can tick
Mark as Paid
(if already paid). Otherwise, it will send an automatic email about the trial lesson with a list of your available payment methods.

- If it's a paid trial and isn't paid yet, their trial will appear as inactive. Once they've paid online, this will automatically update to paid. If they paid some other way, e.g. bank transfer, you can mark it as paid.

. - In the expanded menu click
Trials
. - Toggle to
Inactive
status. - Check the box next to the student's name and you'll see an option to
Mark as Paid
.

- If they decide to join the class permanently, you can approve their profile, and they will be added to your list of regular customers or students.
- Click

. - In the expanded menu click
Trial Registrations
. Here you'll find a list of students trialling your classes. - From the Trial Registrations list, check the box next to the student's name who wishes to continue taking your classes regularly.
- Click on
Approve Selected
and confirm the approval to transition them from trial status to active participants. Or click on theApprove and enrol
button to attach them to the class.
- Click
- Once approved, these students will be listed among your regular students, and depending on your settings, they will also receive a welcome email with the invitation to log in to the portal for seamless class management.
By following these steps, existing customers can easily participate in trial lessons, providing them with an opportunity to explore new classes and offerings within your school. ⭐
