Learn how to set up trial lessons for potential customers and students
Setting up trial lessons provides an easy and convenient way for potential customers and students to experience your classes. Here's how to set it up:
- Access Trial Settings and Enable Trials:
- Click
<to the right ofClasses. - In the expanded menu click
Trials. - Navigate to the
Settingstab. - Toggle the switch to
Enabletrial lessons.
- Click
- Configure Trial Parameters:
- Once enabled, a link will be generated allowing potential customers to book trial lessons.
- From the trial settings page, determine the number of trialing students per class and set trial registration limits as needed.
- Enable Trials for Classes:
- Click
<to the right ofClasses. - In the expanded menu click
View All. - Select the relevant season.
- Check the box of the class you want to offer trials or select all, then click
Group Actions. - In the expanded menu click
Enable Trial Lessons.
- Click
- Limit Trials for Classes or Students:
- You can further customize trial settings by limiting trials for specific classes or individual students.
- Click
<to the right ofClasses. - In the expanded menu click
View All. - Select the relevant season and open the class by selecting it.
- Head over to the
Trialstab. - Set trial limits by entering the number on
Trial Max Capacity Per StudentorTrial Max Capacity Per Lesson.
Example:
- Setting “Trial Max Capacity Per Student” to 2 means each student can only attend a maximum of 2 trial sessions for this class.
- Setting “Trial Max Capacity Per Lesson” to 5 means each lesson can have no more than 5 trial students. - Remember to
Saveyour changes.
- Click
- You can further customize trial settings by limiting trials for specific classes or individual students.
- Locating Trial Links:
- Once trials are enabled for a class, a unique link is generated allowing potential customers to book trial lessons for that specific class. You can find it on the class page in the
Trialstab. - Additionally, a general trial lessons link can be found on your trial settings page. All your available trial classes are displayed.
- Click
<to the right ofClasses. - In the expanded menu click
Trials. - Navigate to the
Settingstab. - Click
Copy Linkand paste it onto your website or share it across your social media.
- Click
- Once trials are enabled for a class, a unique link is generated allowing potential customers to book trial lessons for that specific class. You can find it on the class page in the
- Booking Process for Customers:
- New customers can use the generated link to book trial lessons. Existing customers can book trial lessons via the Parent Portal. If you'd like to explore more, follow the links below.

- Emailing Trial Students:
- Communicate with trialing students efficiently by creating group emails and sending them to customers trialing within specific timeframes.

Create Email. - Click
Select Recipient Group. - In the expanded menu select the customers trialing within specific timeframes, e.g. Customers - Trials (Last Week), Customers - Trials (Last Month) etc., that you would like to email.

- Additionally, you can enable trials reminders to remind them a day before their trial or set up automated trial follow-up emails to invite them to join the class. Follow the links below to learn how.
