Adding Students to Classes

When you create a class, how can you add new students that are attending?

Once you've created student profiles, the next step is to attach them to the classes they will be attending. This process not only adds students to class information and registers but also facilitates billing for your customers. Below, you'll find step-by-step instructions for adding students to classes, whether they registered online or were manually added/imported.

If they registered online:

Once approved, parents or customers gain access to the customer portal. From there, they can easily schedule their classes by simply clicking the Enrol button.


💡Tip: You have the option to adjust your settings to automatically approve portal registrations. This way, once registration is complete, students can proceed with enrolling into classes themselves. 

Navigate to Settings > Company > Information > check the Automatically approve portal registrations? box, and don't forget to Save.

 
 If they were manually added or imported:

  1. To add a student to classes:

    1. Click < to the right of Students.
    2. In the expanded menu click View All.
    3. Locate the student's profile that you wish to add to classes.
    4. Open their profile by selecting their name, and go to the Classes tab, you'll find the option to Attach/Detach.
    5. You will see a list of all your available classes, and toggle Attending button to add them to the class.
  1. To add multiple students to classes:

    1. Click < to the right of Classes.
    2. In the expanded menu click View All.
    3. Select the season and locate the class (or use the global search feature).
    4. Navigate to the Student List tab.
    5. Click Attach/Detach.
    6. You will see a list of all your students, and then just toggle Attending button to add them to the class.

Once you've attached students to their respective classes, they'll be registered for attendance and billing purposes. This streamlined process ensures accurate class enrolments and facilitates efficient customer management within your system.
