Removing a Staff Member

If a member of your team has left the company, you can remove their profile on your Class Manager account.

Removing a staff member from your Class Manager account is a straightforward process. Here's how you can do it:

If you prefer to maintain a record, you have the option to mark the staff member as inactive instead of deleting them. This action will revoke their access, and they won't receive any further emails from the system.

To inactivate a staff member:

  1. Click < to the right of Staff.
  2. In the expanded menu click View All.
  3. Locate the staff member's profile that you wish to inactivate from the list.
  4. Open their profile by selecting their name, and under the Basic Information tab, you'll find the option to Edit.
  5. Change the Status to Inactive and click Save.

Once the staff is inactive, you would want to detach them from any class they are assigned to (and assign a new staff member).

To detach a staff from a class:

  1. Click < to the right of Classes.
  2. In the expanded menu click View All.
  3. Select the appropriate season and locate the class (or use our handy global search feature).
  4. On the Basic Information tab, click Edit.
  5. Click the X button next to the staff name to remove them from this class (and assign another staff). Remember to save your changes.
  6. Then go to the Lesson Setup tab.
  7. Select the lesson and change the staff details to the new staff you just assigned to this class.
  8. Remember to Save your changes.
If you prefer to remove their profile entirely, you can delete their profile instead.

To delete a staff profile:

  1. Click < to the right of Staff.
  2. In the expanded menu click View All.
  3. Locate the staff member's profile that you wish to delete from the list.
  4. Open their profile by selecting their name, and under the Basic Information tab, you'll find the option to Delete.
  5. To proceed with deletion, you'll first need to reassign any upcoming lessons/classes to another staff member. Once this is done, you can return to delete their profile.

Please note that if the staff member has upcoming lessons or classes, you won't be able to delete their profile immediately. The system will notify you of any upcoming commitments they have.

Note: Deletion is a permanent action and cannot be reversed.
