# Making a Lesson Inactive

## If you have a specific day off or the venue is unavailable, you can mark a single lesson as inactive.

There are instances when you cannot conduct a particular lesson due to venue unavailability, teacher holidays, and similar circumstances. In such cases, you can make a single lesson inactive. 

To make a lesson inactive, follow these steps:

1. Click `<` to the right of `Classes`.
2. In the expanded menu click `VIew All`.
3. Select the relevant season and desired class.
4. Open the class page by selecting it, and navigate to the `Lessons` tab.
5. Locate the specific lesson you wish to make inactive and toggle the button to turn it off.
6. Changes are saved automatically. 

By making a lesson inactive, it will be excluded from your calendar. If your class cost frequency is set to 'lesson' or 'week', the inactive lesson will also be omitted from your billing when you generate invoices.
