Stop billing customers for half-term/holidays

How not to bill your customers for days when the class is not on.

Whether you will bill for a week or a year at a time, you will always have dates that you cannot make. Class Manager deals with this by making the lesson inactive.

Depending on if this affects one class or all classes, the most efficient way to do the change will be slightly different.

The system will not invoice for lessons that are marked as inactive. You can see the active/inactive state for any lesson by looking at the lesson list of a specific class.

Note: This will only occur if your pricing frequency is set to Lesson or Week

I want to exclude a date from all my classes

A great example of this use case would be a public holiday. For example, on January 1st no one will be billing for New Years Day.

As this will affect all classes, it would be best to add this as a Holiday in your settings. Check here to find out how.

I want to exclude a date from select classes

A great example for this use case would be that a specific studio/hall that you teach in is unavailable in the final 2 Fridays before Christmas for the local choir that book it for practice.

As this will affect selected classes/lessons, it would be best to make these specific lessons inactive. To make a lesson inactive check here
