How to create a class from scratch and set up your correct class cost.
This article is assuming you have already created your Season. If not, you will need to do this first before creating classes (this is essentially the folder that will run for your billing time period that will contain your classes). - Find
Classes
in the main menu on the left and click<
- In the expanded menu click
Create Class
. - This will change the screen and you'll need to enter the details of your class. You can enter a range of information (such as logo and colours) but must enter everything detailed below (indicated by a red * in Class Manager):
- Type in a
Name
for your class (e.g. Street Dance For Beginners) - Type in a
Description
for your class for your customers to see. - Select the
Season
. - Select a
Venue
. To do this clickClick to select
and choose the displayed Venue.
Note: A default Venue is created when you create your account. You may have multiple venues and wish to create your own. For further help on this, head to How to add a venue. - Select a member of
Staff
. To do this clickClick to select
and choose the displayed person.
Note: The person who created the account will be the default member of staff used. You can set up multiple members of staff via the Staff menu. For further help on this, head to Adding a new staff member. - Add a
Start Date
andEnd Date
within the dates of the season. - Choose the Occurrence of the class (how frequently the class runs) by clicking

and choosing one ofDaily
,Weekly
,Fortnightly
,Monthly
orYearly
. - Select the Days the class runs by clicking

and choosing a day of the week. Select a day and it will appear in the list. To remove a day click thex
to the left of the day and to add another day (e.g. if you have a class that runs on multiple days) click again in the space and select another day. - Choose the Format of the lesson by clicking

and choosing one ofGroup
orPrivate
. - Enter the Minimum and Maximum age by clicking
Click to select
and choosing eitherAny
or a specific age (1
thru to100
). - Enter the Price of the Class by entering the
£/$ amount
(alternatively you can use the arrows to change the price by 1 cent/pence at a time). - You can also add a Registration Fee for this class. This will be added to the invoice under this classes billing info.
- Choose the Frequency of the charge by clicking

. - Change the Capacity for the class, you can simply type in the number of students for the class or use the arrows to amend the capacity 1 number at a time).
- Type in a
4. Once you are happy with all the information you have entered for the new class, click the Save
button in the top right hand corner of the screen. If you have not given all the information required then the page will remain and missing information will be highlighted in red.
If you have entered all the information then the lesson will be saved and you will be taken to the next screen 'Lesson Detail'.
- The screen will display some of the information already chosen in the previous screen and you will need to select the duration of the class by clicking
select interval
and choosing an amount of time (0
to3
hours in intervals orcustom
). If custom is chosen, simply enter the number of minutes. - Once a duration is chosen, the screen will refresh and you can choose a timeframe. Click the displayed time and choose the
timeframe
the class will be held (e.g. 3pm - 6pm for a 3 hour class).
Note: Class Manager will not allow classes to clash. So if a time is not showing as available, its either because the staff member or venue is already in use at that time. - Click the
Save
button in the bottom of the right hand corner of the screen. The Save will be confirmed on screen and you will be taken to the Lesson Setup list.
